Michael R. Starkle – Managing Director

Mike Starkle was a founding member of Timepiece Capital. Immediately prior to founding Timepiece, he spent two years as a Managing Partner with the buyout firm 17th Street Capital Partners. Mr. Starkle’s prior work experience includes investment banking stints at Tucker Anthony Sutro Capital Markets, Security Capital Group, and LaSalle Partners Limited. Mr. Starkle also spent six years as CEO of CRE Industries Incorporated, an investment vehicle for the acquisition, growth and disposition of two manufacturing and distribution companies. Mr. Starkle currently serves on the board of directors of all of the Timepiece portfolio companies. He graduated with honors from Harvard University.

William P. Jancosko – CFO

Mr. Jancosko is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of finance, technical and management experience. He earned his CPA, a B.S. in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University, and an MBA in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. Jancosko’s experience includes over 13 years as CFO for companies in the technology and healthcare ndustries. He has also provided the financial leadership for four startup companies. At Fed Ex, he co-developed the company financial information system that is still in use and was the district controller for the company’s largest district during launch. Mr. Jancosko has extensive manufacturing experience at LTV Steel where he was a manager of Financial Analysis at both a major steel mill and at company headquarters. In his corporate career, he has participated in several significant mergers and acquisitions with experience from research, valuation, and targeting through due diligence, closure, and taxes.

David P. Ransburg, Jr. – Strategic Partner

David is the founder of The Convergent Group LLC, a human capital consulting firm, and he is a consultant with Kaplan DeVries Inc., a firm that offers executive coaching and leadership development services. He serves as an independent consultant to Timepiece Capital. Recent clients include Microsoft, SC Johnson, and Lincoln Financial as well as numerous privately held family businesses. David was formerly a staff therapist at the renowned Family Institute at Northwestern University. David received a BA in Economics from Stanford University, an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and an MA in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University.
